At a conference commemorating World Handicrafts Day and National Handicrafts Day in North Khorasan, veterans, activists, artisans with the seal of authenticity, and exhibitors from the Handicrafts House were honored.

According to the Public Relations Department of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of North Khorasan, a ceremony to honor artists and artisans of North Khorasan was held on Wednesday, June 10, on the sidelines of a conference commemorating World Handicrafts Day and National Handmade Carpet Day, with the presence of the Governor of North Khorasan, the representative of the people of Esfarayen County in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, a group of executives, governors and mayors in the conference hall of the Bojnourd Chamber of Commerce.

At this ceremony, a group of veterans of the province’s handicrafts sector, prominent activists in this field, artisans with the seal of authenticity, as well as exhibitors at the Handicrafts House were honored with plaques and gifts.

This celebration was held with the aim of honoring the efforts, skills, and valuable contributions of handicraft artists; artists who, by preserving native traditions and transferring knowledge and experience, make an important contribution to the continuity and dynamism of the province’s traditional arts.

Also, the appreciation of the exhibitors of the Handicraft House, as part of the field activists in this field, emphasized the importance of supporting the presentation and introduction of the products of the province’s artists.

Held on the sidelines of the World Handicrafts Day conference, this program was a manifestation of attention to the human capital in this field and emphasized the role of veteran masters and creative artists in the promotion of handicrafts in North Khorasan.
