According to Atrak, North Khorasan handicrafts are signs of the culture and identity of the people, which are rooted in their civilization. Considering the geographical and cultural conditions of North Khorasan and the existence of different ethnicities and cultures in this province, it can be said that North Khorasan handicrafts constitute a significant part of traditional markets inside and outside the country.
The discovery of ancient works of art made by man in historical monuments all over our province indicates the close connection between art and handicrafts and its civilization. Considering that North Khorasan is still far from achieving its ideals, it is possible to strengthen the economic infrastructure of this region of the country by investing appropriately in the province’s handicrafts. With its development and attention, we could witness growth in job creation, followed by the development of the province and the liberation of people from the problem of unemployment.
In any case, since the establishment of the province, in other words, after the division of Greater Khorasan into three provinces of North Khorasan, Razavi, and South Khorasan, good things have happened in North Khorasan Province, including the cultural heritage, handicrafts, and tourism sectors.
