Job Description:

Planning, dividing work and training staff under supervision

Planning to preserve, restore and revive buildings, sites, textures and historical and cultural properties in the province within the framework of the determined policies and supervising their implementation

Planning and taking necessary measures to register eligible movable and immovable historical monuments in the list of national and world monuments

Supervising the implementation of laws and regulations, bylaws, national conventions regarding the preservation, restoration and revival of buildings, sites and historical textures in the province

Providing the necessary grounds for attracting private sector participation in carrying out matters related to movable and immovable properties and providing the necessary support in this regard

Planning to resolve issues and problems in the implementation of the province’s cultural heritage bases

Necessary cooperation to benefit from the capabilities of the province’s bases in tourism development

Job Description:

Archaeological planning within the framework of the established criteria and goals

Investigating discovered artifacts and determining the characteristics of the aforementioned artifacts and classifying them in line with the duties of the provincial organization

Determining and recognizing the age of historical, cultural and artistic artifacts and objects existing at the provincial level

Conducting necessary studies and investigations regarding artifacts and objects existing in other countries and exchanging information in this field with them in coordination with the central organization

Preparing and compiling the required research programs in the field of archaeology and announcing them to the Cultural Heritage and Tourism Research Institute

Cooperating with scientific groups to research and study ancient and historical artifacts and objects existing in the province

Preparing, compiling and compiling the necessary reports of the province’s archaeological activities for relevant authorities and officials

Preserving and optimizing places in terms of engineering within the framework of the developed rules and criteria
Supervising the repair and maintenance of existing buildings in the province within the framework of delegated authorities
Providing expert opinions to relevant units of the organization regarding the preparation of safety plans for museums and places where historical and cultural property of the province is stored

Preparing and compiling executive instructions for the use of cultural, historical and artistic works in provincial museums
Conducting the necessary studies and surveys regarding museums around the world and establishing contact with them through the International Committee of Museums in order to exchange relevant information
Preparing and compiling the research programs required by museum management and announcing them to the Cultural Heritage and Tourism Research Institute and, if necessary, cooperating with the aforementioned research institute to implement research projects
